Dear Sirs,
As requested I have supplied the water intrusion integrity test parameters for PALL microbially rated hydrophobic filters. They are based on the use of distilled or deionised water with a surface tension greater than 71 dyne/cm (0.071 N.m-1) at ambient temperature (20°C ± 2°C).
The integrity test values apply at a test temperature of 18 - 24°C with compressed Air or Nitrogen as the pressure source.
During the test period the temperature of the filter assembly should not vary more than ± 1°C.The filter cartridge must be dry prior to the start of the tests.
It is recommended that the stabilisation and test periods should be of 10 minute duration, except where these stages of the test are determined independently under the direct control of an automated integrity test device.Water Intrusion Test Parameters Filter Test Pressure (mbar gauge) Maximum Acceptable Water Flow
