Mutation changes the world
• Imagine living in such a world.Despite of ordinary human beings,evolution has taken place upon some of us.This genetical mutation has led to a new gene called the X gene.Thanks to this,some people have attained extraordinary abilities.These people are thus named,mutants(变种人）.

• What kind of ability would you like to obtain?Self-curing（自愈）,telepathicity(心灵感 应）,releasing lacer light from your eyes（镭射 眼）,telekinetic（念力）or maybe controling the weather（控制天气）?Will you choose to live as a mutant or live a normal life? • Anyway,the X-men choose to make most of their power to maintain the peace of the whole world,helping and protecting human beings although humans are often hostile to and afraid of mutants because of their power.

• So.They are so talented.In some kind of way,they represent the directiion of human beings' evolution.The X-man are devoted to using their capabilities to fight against evil and protect human beings.(As manmade weapons are so weak in front of mutants.) • This is their choice.Suppose you were under the same condition,what would be your choice?You know,as Magneto pointed out,humans are often afraid of things and people they know little about.Will you ignore all the contempt(歧 视） and hostility（敌意） and take all the responsibilities?
