一、专业介绍生态学专业要求学生具备生态学专业扎实和宽厚的理论基础知识、系统的研究方向专门知识和坚实的实验技能，熟悉所从事研究方面的科学理论和技术的最新发展和动向；具备独立申请、主持科研项目和独立解决科研问题的能力；熟练掌握计算操作技术与先进的生态学实验技能。
生态学是研究生物体与其周围环境（包括非生物环境和生物环境）相互关系的科学。
目前已经发展为“研究生物与其环境之间的相互关系的科学”，有自己的研究对象、任务和方法的比较完整和独立的学科。
清华大学生态学专业在博士招生方面，划分为3个研究方向：071300生态学博士研究方向:01全球变化生态学;02大气海洋科学;03全球变化经济学此专业实行申请考核制。
二、考试内容清华大学生态学专业博士研究生招生为资格审查加综合考核形式，由笔试+面试构成。
其中，综合考核内容为:1）综合考核时间：九月中下旬，具体时间另行通知。
2）综合考核形式及项目综合考核由综合专业基础考试（笔试，2小时）和综合面试形式组成。
笔试：《地球系统科学专业基础》。
笔试时间为2小时，满分100分。
考查专业基础知识与英语水平，主要包括大气科学、全球变化生态学等方面的专业基础知识等，重点考核英语阅读能力。
面试每位考生约30分钟，满分100分。
面试重点考查申请人在本学科攻读博士学位的基本素养、学术能力、学术志趣等。
地球系统科学系组织至少五名博士生导师组成考核小组，每位考核导师根据考核情况现场对每位考生进行打分。
三、时间安排1.博士生申请在每年的8-9月和11月。
2.直博生（包括夏令营拟录取的直博生）、硕博连读生及部分9月份招收普博生的院系8-9月申请，9月中下旬考试录取，见当年招生简章及目录、招生说明、直博直硕招生要求。
其他类别的考生11月份申请，来年3月份考试，见每年的对外招生目录（10月底上网）。
3.9月份考试由院系组织，持身份证参加考试，无需下载准考证。
3月份由学校组织考试，3月初网上下载准考证，以准考证上考试科目、时间、地点为准。
4.成绩公布约在考试后20天左右，用自己的ID号查询。
5.拟录取结果5月份向院系查询。
6.5月中下旬调档签协议。
7.6月底或7月初，档案审查无误后发放录取通知书。
网研院普通招考博士生报名申请时间为2018年11月1日-11月30日。
其他院系报名申请时间为2018年8月24日-9月7日，综合考核时间为2018年9月中下旬，院系如在九月完成招生计划将不再组织后期招生，部分院系九月如未完成招生计划将组织十一月报名。
四、申请材料1）清华大学2019年报考攻读博士学位研究生登记表（网上报名后打印）；2）本科及硕士研究生期间学业成绩单原件；3）本科毕业证书、学士学位证书、硕士研究生毕业证书、学位证书复印件；4）两封与报考专业相关的职称为副教授(或相当职称)或以上的专家的推荐信；5）根据招生专业目录上拟报考导师的研究方向，撰写一份拟攻读博士学位的科学研究计划书(必须与导师联系后撰写，且不少于2000字)；6）全国大学英语四、六级证书或其它证明英语水平的考试成绩单复印件；7）其他能证明科研水平和能力的材料。
