This includes but isn’t limited to special certifications by external organizations (i.e. – Auditors, Calibration Technicians), classes on industry standards or new technology (API courses, CMM arms), Seminars and workshops (Management, Leadership, or Sales), or technical training (CNC operations and programming)QA Auditor: Assist lead auditor in a minimum of (2) internal audits and/or attend and successfully complete a course developed and conducted by a qualified instructor including all elements of the QMS, audit planning and scheduling, development of an audit checklist, collecting objective evidence, writing non-conformances, effective corrective and preventative actions, & follow-up, verification, and closure.All Employees: In addition the initial indoctrination, all employees will attend monthly training classes. Classes are given once per month to emphasize and/or reiterate individual elements of the QMS and HSE policies. Often, a given class may contain both a safety and quality topic.Machine Operators: (Lathe, Saw, Mill) All operators are provided on the job training. Machine operators are assessed through continuous evaluations and testing and classified as level 1, 2, or 3 Operators (1 = novice, 2 = veteran, 3 = expert).Calibration Technicians: Trained in AIT Machine calibration procedures and work instructions.Instructors that train personnel shall meet the following minimum requirements:a)Auditor Instructors shall meet the following requirements.•Possess a high school education or equivalent.•Received on job training (OJT) for a minimum period of three months with AIT Machine, LLC•Have a minimum two years of experience as an auditor, inspector or supervisor in a quality-related position.•Possess training by a hired consultant or previous certification as an auditor by an accredited organization such as the International Standards Organization (ISO), DetNorske Veritas (DNV), American Society of Quality (ASQ) or the American PetroleumInstitute (API).•Have extensive knowledge of quality-related industry standards.•Be capable of developing a training course for auditors containing corresponding information relative to these procedures and confirm the comprehension.b)Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Instructors shall meet the following requirements.•Possess a high school education or equivalent.•Received on job training (OJT) for a minimum period of three months with AIT Machine.•Either possess training by a hired consultant or previous certification as a safety instructor by an accredited organization.•Possess extensive knowledge of safety-related industry standards.•Meet AIT Machine, LLC requirements for instructors that are specific to certify personnel to operate certain types of equipment (e.g., fork lift or overhead crane) or to certifypersonnel in life saving techniques and/or medical first aid assistance (e.g., CPR/First Aidor water survival) or environmental incident prevention/response.•Be capable of developing a training course as required, conduct the training, and confirm the comprehension.c)Quality Management System (QMS) Instructors shall meet the following requirements.•Possess a high school education or equivalent.•Received on job training (OJT) for a minimum period of three months with AIT Machine, LLC.•Possess general knowledge of manufacturing/machining oilfield products.•Satisfy the necessary quality auditor qualifications as described within this procedure or •Attend training by a qualified QMS instructor and conduct a minimum of one training session while monitored by the qualified instructor.d)Specific Training Instructors shall meet the following requirements.•Possess a high school education or equivalent.•Received on job training (OJT) for a minimum period of six months with AIT Machine, LLC.•Have a minimum of one year experience in manufacturing/machining oilfield products.•Possess adequate knowledge of AIT Machine, LLC products, machinery, software knowledge and ability to operate within the AIT Machine, LLC network and programs.•Possess a working knowledge of AIT Machine, LLC HSE and QMS requirements and procedures.•Be capable of developing a training course as required, conduct the training, and confirm the comprehension.PresidentDEPARTMENT: ALL REPORTS TO: Owners REVISION DATE: 05/22/2014POSITION SUMMARY:The President oversees all operations and departments of AIT Machine, LLC, promoting a culturethat reflects the organization’s values, encouraging good performance, and rewarding productivity. The President ensures our Quality Policy is effectively our Mission Statement and that all QMS, HSE, Industry, legal, and Customer requirements are adhered to or fulfilled. The President provides the resources, planning, vision, leadership, direction, and management necessary to exceed organizational goals, achieving customer satisfaction in the safe, efficient, cost effective manufacture of product consisting of the highest quality delivered on time, every time.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:1. Provides leadership and vision by spearheading the development of long range and annualplans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans.2. Creates operating plans that support the strategic direction and correlate with annual operatingbudgets.3. Develops and monitors strategies for ensuring long-term financial viability of AIT Machine, LLC.4. Promotes a team concept and fosters a comfortable working environment for all employees5. Hires, manages, and fires the human resources of the company in accordance withprocedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations.6. Develops future leadership within the organization.7. Oversees all operations and manages compliance with legal and regulatory, customer andindustry requirements and standards.8. Ensures all staff have sufficient and up-to-date information.9. Evaluates the organization’s staff’s performance on a continual basis and determines needsfor development and training.10. Prudently manages the or ganization’s resources within budget guidelines, ensuringappropriate accounting procedures in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).11. Manages advertising opportunities and oversees the content, production, and distribution of allmarketing and publicity materials.12. Serves as the primary spokesperson and representative of AIT Machine, LLC, assuring itsmission, programs, and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image torelevant and potential customers.13. Oversees the development of all quality and safety programs and services.14. Directs and oversees site production activity and personnel.15. Directs production activities to insure safety and compliance with quality control standards,regulatory compliance and safety standards.16. Ensures accurate documentation of production and quality control data and records.17. Ensures client and vendor file integrity/confidentiality.18. Maintains general oversight and insures accuracy of records.19. Assists in the development of forms and tools to increase company efficiency and riskmanagement.20. Ensures duties, responsibilities, authority, accountability, orientation, and training for allsubordinates are clearly defined and understood.21. Ensures all aspects of AIT Machine’s QMS & HSE poli cy, customer, API, ISO, legal/statutory,and other requirements and specifications are adhered to, met, and exceeded in efficientmanner without the sacrifice of integrity, quality, or safety.22. Maintains ethical business practices, proprietary information, and confidentiality. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:1. High School Diploma or GED2. Familiarity with quality and industry standards required3. Bachelor degree in business administration strongly preferred4. Computer software knowledge and online information navigation skills required5. Effective writing and communication skills required6. Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress, and crisis situations required7. Minimum 5 years of experience in business management, planning, and financial oversight.8. Minimum 5 years of experience working in manufacturing, servicing, or military industries withexperience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation, and benefits administration required.9. Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel in order to balnce staffing strength withprofitability and growth strongly required.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC1. Must possess an enthusiastic can-do attitude, be highly self-motivated, result oriented, andhave a superior sense of drive.2. Must be proficient in Excel, MS Office, JobBoss and other appropriate programs3. Have well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with diverse personalitiesin a tactful and mature manner.4. Must have ability to establish credibility and be decisive—but able to recognize and support theorganization’s preferences and priorities.5. Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:1. Stand, walk and sit for extended periods of times2. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel toe shoes and safety glasses, must beworn at all times while in the shop.3. May experience exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and/or chemicals. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:1. All employees are to be indoctrinated in the QSM within 60 days of hire.2.
