The thesis is composed of five parts. The first part is introduction. The second part starts from introducing translation aesthetics, including aesthetic subject and aesthetic object. The third part describes Ba Jin’s aesthetic thoughts in translation on children’s literature,whichcontains Ba Jin’s language features and his aesthetic thoughts in translation. Ba Jin’s aesthetic thoughts inThe Happy Prince(2010) areintroducedintheforth part, which discussesBa Jin’s aesthetic thoughts from three aspects--language, images and style. The last part is conclusion, which summarizes the whole thesis, and offers some suggestions for further study.
