Brussels International Airport Weather Radar System
Requirement: Provide low level wind shear detection for a major international airport. In addition, provide weather radar imagery and products for general meteorology and water management. Solution: A Radtec model TDR 43-250 C-band Klystron based weather radar system with a precision offset feed antenna, digital receiver, Sigmet RVP7 signal processor, Sigmet IRIS software and a network of workstations and radar display stations. The following photographs illustrate the system installation.
