After Ellie passed away, he missed her very much and want to finish their dream. But he did not want to move to another place for the elderly, So Carl took action.
When the house disappears in clouds , Carl says ” it’s just a house”, he finally understands Ellie, adventure is not just to see the magnificent landscape, but to experience the significative, fulfilling, unique life with people we love.

Frankly speaking, the theme of this movie is not really fresh and special. Persisting of beautiful dream, the protection of nature, they are all very ordinary plot. But it can also make us laugh and cry, and inspire us some understand of life.
