With the frequency of electronic control circuitry or oscillator frequency is higher and higher, more and more products need radiated disturbance and radiated immunity test, and the frequency range required by radiated disturbance and radiated immunity test is higher and higher. Note:
The latest version of standard is referenced when determining if RE or radiated immunity is applicable.
For example, standard EN 55014-1 is electromagnetic emission requirements for household appliances, electrical tools and similar apparatus, the latest version for CE-EMC directive is EN 55014-1: 2006+A1: 2009, RE in the frequency range 30MHz to 1000 MHz is necessary for the product which is powered by battery or the margin of disturbance power (one of EMI test items) is lower than 10 dB. RE is not included in earlier versions.。
