[名师点评] 1. 短文采用的从句较多。如:When it stopped at the next
station时间状语从句;It seemed that表语从句;who sat around me定语从句;what I should do宾语从句; who are in trouble定语从句。 2. 文章结尾采用了倒装句式Only in this way...这也给短文 增添了不少色彩。

But I was very lucky to get a seat. When it stopped at
the next station, I saw an old woman with bags in her hands get on the train.
It seemed that she was very tired. People who sat around me pretended that they didn't see her. I sat on my seat thinking what I should do. At last I decided to stand up and asked the old woman to sit down, because I think it is our duty to respect the old and help those who are in trouble. Only in this way can we live a harmonious life.
