延伸句型(1) S + Vi + (adv.)
此句型指其後可以接副詞、副詞片語或副詞子句 來修飾其動詞。
例：It rained heavily here.
(這裡雨下得很大。)
Nothing happened last night.
(昨晚沒事發生)
以上兩句雖有主詞與動詞，但句意仍不完整，故 必須補充詞語加以說明。而這些補充說明主詞 的詞語叫做「主詞補語」：
(1) My girlfriend is a model. (2) My girlfriend looks very slender and beautiful.
這樣，是不是句意就完整了呢!
happily(開心地)是副詞，用來修飾動詞-唱歌的狀態。
故為「修飾語」 。是S + Vi (+adv) 的句型。
(2) My grandmother stayed healthy. My grandmother stayed for a week.
分析：
My grandmother stayed healthy. (我奶奶很健康。) healthy(健康的)是形容詞，，用來形容主詞-我的奶奶 的身體健康。故為「主詞補語」 。是S + Vi + SC的句型。

觀念: 有些動詞本身意思就很清楚，可以完整的表達 句子的意思。後面不須接「受詞」或「補語」。

分析：

tired(疲累的)是形容詞，用來形容主詞-they。
My girlfriend laughed when she saw Tiger Wang.

延伸句型(2) S + Vi + (介詞+O)
不及物動詞沒有直接受詞，所以如果後面有受詞 時，要先加上介系詞。
例：Don’t laugh at others.
