Step 2 Language points
1. I share a bedroom with my sister. We often listen to music in bed.
share something (with somebody)表示“（与某人）共有某物”。
如：
Would you mind sharing the table with him?
你介意和他共用这张桌子吗？
注意：
in bed = under the covers在床上（指盖着被子）
on the bed = on top of the covers在床上（指未打开被子）
2. I love to sit there and look out at the beach and the sea.
句中的look out表示“向外看”，后面如果接宾语，需要使用介词。
如：The old man often looks out of the window.
这位老人经常看着窗外。
3. I have my own bedroom and bathroom…
★own可以作形容词，意为“自己的”，常与形容词性物主代词连用，短语of one’s own意为“属于某人自己的”。
例如：
My sister likes to study at her own room.
我妹妹喜欢在她自己的房间里学习。
I live in the house of my own.
我住在自己的房子里。
★own还可以作及物动词，意为“拥有，所有”，后可直接跟宾语。
例如：Do you own this house?
这是你的房子吗？/这所房子归你所有吗？
I don’t own anything of any value.
我没有任何值钱的东西。
