Synopsis
• At the very beginning, Juli Baker meets Bryce Loski two weeks before second grade; it's something about those blue eyes that attract her. Juli knows it's love, while Bryce, like any seven-year-old boy, doesn't.

The meanings behind the sycamore tree:
When climbing up the sycamore tree, Juli finds the vast garden and brilliant rays. “I could sit there for hat the world.”
• However, changes begin to take place on Bryce. With his grandfather’s guide, he starts to feel the true beauty inside of Juli, and gradually fells in love with this passional and sincere girl. At the end of the book, they finally get together.
Synopsis
• But Things start to change when Juli catches Bryce throwing the eggs which she gives to Bryce but his family through them into the trash can. Juli finds him actually not that charming deep inside his handsome appearance. Then she walks away from the boy.

The book expresses the meaning from Juli’s and Bryce’s own view, along with psychological activity, which makes the same thing has different understandings and results in misunderstandings.
Special analysis:
► Bryce’s father, a man who likes to satirize everything he does not like in a sarcastic manner. He was once a literary Sax youth, but forced the direction of his life by his parents. Such a thing influenced his life, and he spitefully suspected the source of equipment money of Baker brothers, laughed at Juli's father's drawings, and laughed at the ugly sycamore tree. This is to vent the anger of the early years.
