据,拉美裔美国人已经超过黑人,成为美 国最大的少数族群。截至2001年7月,拉 美裔人口上升至3700万,比2000年4月 增加了4.7%。而黑人人口同期仅增加了 2%,为3600万。目前拉美裔人口占美国 总人口的13%,黑人占12.7%。
