a little（少的）表示肯定意义，修饰不可数名词，如 a little love(一点儿爱)
a few（一些）表示肯定意义，修饰的是可数名词如 a few apples(一些苹果)【注意这时如果用there be 句型be动词要用复数形式】如there are a few apples
little (少的)否定意义，修饰不可数名词如little love（没多少爱）few(一些)否定意义，修饰可数名词如few apples(没多少苹果))【注意这时如果用there be 句型be动词要用单数形式】如there is few apples
a bit（有点）修饰形容词如 a bit far(有点远) 修饰形容词时在肯定句中用法和a little一样【注意否定时区别not a bit = not at all 一点儿也不，毫不not a little = much不是一点儿，非常
a bit of（一点）后面加不可数名词
a little bit (有几分有点儿)是固定词组常加形容词或或比较级 a little bit longer(再长一点点)
few, little前不加a时：
a. 通常表示否定含义，译作“几乎没有”。

如He made few mistakes. (注：few后仍接复数名词) / There is little coffee here, is there?
b. 在有些词组中，few前也不加a，却不表示否定含义。

如every few weeks (“每隔几周”), another few books (“另几本书”)

a few, a little, a bit的用法：
a few译作“几个”，a little, a bit译作“有点儿”。

它们具有名词、形容词或副词的特点，在句中可充当主语、宾语、定语或状语。

1.名词性词组：a few代替复数名词，a little, a bit代替不可数名词。

如My answers are wrong. Tell me a few. / There is no milk in my glass, give me a little (= a bit), please.
2.形容词性词组：a few修饰复数名词，a little修饰不可数名词，
a bit加上of后修饰不可数名词。

如 a few dictionaries / a little water (= a bit of water)
3.副词性词组：a little, a bit可修饰形容词、副词的原级或比较级。

a few不可。

如I’m a little (= a bit) cold. / He is a little (= a bit) taller than Tom.
注：(1) a bit还可写成a little bit，a bit of还可写成a little bit of (3)当few, little, bit前有quite, just, only时，必须加a。

quite a few 译作“许多的”，等于many，quite a little / bit也译作“许多的”，等于much。

just a few / little / bit译作“就一点儿”，only a few / little / bit译作“仅仅一点儿”。

(4)当few, little, bit后有more时，必须加a。

a few more译作“另/再几个”，a little / bit more译作“另/再一点儿”。

如I want a few more bananas. / Give me a little more fruit.
(5)否定时，not a little译作“很、非常”(即“不是一点点”)，相当于
very或very much；not a bit译作“一点儿也不”，相当于not at all。

如She isn’t a little angry. (“她很生气”) / She isn’t a bit angry. (“她一点儿也不生气”)
(6) few还有“少的”意思。

如This school has fewer classes.
little还有“小的”意思。

如She’s a little girl.。
