• Once on the shipboard, a young, beautiful girl caught his attention. He fell in love with the girl and wanted to send her a gift. He didn’t know how to initiate the conversation. 1900 practiced again and again in the cabinet. He was too timid to send the girl his record. His personality made him miss a chance.
• He’s a man so brave, that he can play the imaginary piano when exploded with the ship he was born, lived and died in. Yet he’s a man so scared, that he cannot face the infinite city life we are living everyday. He’s a man so intelligent, that he can play the piano as if he has four arms.
Loneliness is born with，But it is also a kind of beauty. The world is much bigger than you image. You can’t choose all the ways. So, do what you should do, love the people around you, and live as who you are.

Once he wanted to leave the ship and live on land. Everybody encouraged him to go to find the girl and hold his concerts. But when he nearly stepped on the land, he gave up. When his friend asked him why, he said ,“There are thousands of streets in the city…which one should I choose to die?” All his life is on board, even he died.
• Nothing in the world belonged to him except his music. So he played. For the first class guests. For the third class members. For the girl at the window. For the darkness of the night. For the heartbeat of his own. For the sea-- his eternal home.
• He was a genius and he knew how to play the piano without being taught. He got his own style and won the applause of passengers. However, he wasn’t happy at all. What he was searching for was love and care, yet he couldn't find them.
• 1900 was very unhappy and broke the record. Again, he just kept his mouth shut and never shared with the others. It was obvious that he no longer wanted to share; he was too tired to find opportunities to air his feeling.

• 1900, an abandoned baby which was taken care by one of the crews in the ship, Virginia. The boy was named 1900 because it was the year which the crew discovered the him . The crew which he regarded as father died several years later and at that time, 1900 is entirely lonely.
We must learn to adapt and communication, but also want to do real oneself.
