答:一、特征:1、常绿或落叶乔木,稀灌木;2、叶条形、锥形或针形,螺旋状排列,或在短枝上簇生,或成束着生于退化短枝顶端;3、雌雄同株,雄球花具多数螺旋状排列的雄蕊,每雄蕊具2花药;雌球花具多数螺旋状排列的珠鳞和苞鳞,苞鳞与珠鳞分离,每珠鳞具2倒生胚珠;4、球果成熟时种鳞张开,稀不张开;每发育种鳞具2种子;种子具翅,稀无翅。

二、此科我国共有9属113种,分布全国,在东北、西南等高山地带组成大面积森林。

有如下用途:1、松科植物多为高大的乔木,生长通常较快,木材蓄积量多,为建筑用材和工业用材的主要来源。

2、有些种类可供采脂、用材、木纤维、提炼松节油等多种化学原料;3、有的种类种子可食或供药用;4、有些可作园林绿化观赏树种,如金钱松、雪松等。
