Unite 的用法
★ unite既可作及物动词也可作不及物动词，意为“联合；团结”。

如：We should unite to fight poverty and disease.
我们应该团结起来为消除贫穷和疾病而斗争。

The more of the masses we unite with, the better.

The oceans do not so much divide the world as unite it.
