学生通过看图片了解资源浪费的情况，引导学生养成练好的生活习惯。

教学过程：
A. Warming-up
(1)Sing a song (we are the word)
(2).Have a free talk:
What does the song tell us?
Summary: it tells us we should save the earth. We should save our home. We should save our lives.
B. Presentation :
1. show some pictures
(出示世界自然景观、代表动物植物的照片)
2. 呈现课文语言
Look,there are plains, mountains, rivers, lakes and oceans on our planet. There are all kinds of trees, flowers and on our planet. There are all kinds of wild animals living together with us.
3. Learn these new words: mountain, river, lake, ocean, planet.
4. 让学生通过看图，和听一部分课文然后提问题（师生或生生互动.如：how do you like our home?
Is this planet beautiful?
Do you like wild animals?
Are the trees and water useful?
5. Shou some pictures and say
The sky is grey now; The river is dry; The wild animals are dead. We cut down the trees
6. Listen to the tape(two times), 找出环境破坏的原因
