(中文)工程流体力学(A 类) (英文)INDUSTRIAL FLUID MECHANICS 专业必修课 本科三年级 英文(English) 机械与动力工程学院/School of Mechanical Engineering 高等数学、大学物理、工程热力学/ Mathematics, Physics, Thermodynamics. 课程网址 (Course Webpage) 课程性质:工程流体力学是机械工程、热能动力工程、工业工程、核科学与工程、 王彤 航空航天工程、环境工程和力学等专业的一门重要技术基础课,是机械、能源动 力类专业必修的主干、核心课。 教学目标: 工程流体力学是研究工程设备中流动工质运动规律以及与运动部件之 间能量转换规律的科学。通过课程教学,培养学生分析和求解简单流体力学问题 的能力,要求掌握基本实验技能,为从事相关专业技术工作、科学研究工作及管 理工作提供重要的理论基础。 教学内容:课程由流体的力学性质、流动分析基础、基本运动方程与分析(含静 力学) 、量纲分析与相似原理、理想流体运动与粘性流体运动、管道流动分析、 边界层流动以及在工程设备中的应用等九部分组成。通过课程教学,不仅使学生 了解流动工质在工程设备中运动规律, 而且可以对设备与流动工质间相互作用规 律进行分析,掌握工程设备中流体运动导致的功能转换原理,同时培养学生科学 抽象、逻辑思维能力,进一步强化实践是检验理论的唯一标准的认识观。 (中文 300-500 字,含课程性质、主要教学内容、课程教学目标等)

The topic areas that will be covered in this course include: properties of fluids, pressure, fluid statics, fluid kinematics, conservation of fluid mass and energy, dimensional analysis and similitude, pipe flow and boundary layer theory. The intent of this course is to provide an introduction to the field of incompressible fluid mechanics. Students should become familiar with a breadth of topics related to fluid mechanics, thus allowing for more in-depth analyses. Students should also become more familiar with the types of problems that involve elementary fluid mechanics, and should be able to identify the intellectual tools (fundamental concepts) that are available to address these problems. Many of the “tools” that students gain from this course should be directly applicable to future problem solving as a practicing engineer, and students should be aware that many of the types of lecture examples and homework problems in this course will bn the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
