特殊疑问句
特殊疑问句是对句中某一部分内容进行提问的疑问句，通常由what, who, when, where, why等疑问词引导。

它与一般疑问句不同，其答语要根据具体内容作答，不能用yes或no来回答。

★句子结构
疑问词 + 一般疑问句(系动词 / 助动词 / 情态动词 + 主语 + 其他)? 如：
When is your Sports Day?
Why do you like playing basketball?
What can I do for you?
注意：疑问词在句中作主语或者修饰主语时，句子要用陈述句语序。

如：Who has an English dictionary now?
What color is your favorite?
★常见的疑问词
▶ what是疑问代词，意为“什么”，通常用来询问姓名、号码、物品、数字运算结果等，what可与color, time, class等名词连用一起引导特殊疑问句。

如：What's your name / telephone number / favorite subject?
What is five and eight?
What color is this?
▶ why是疑问副词，意为“为什么”，用来询问原因，回答why引导的特殊疑问句时多用连词because引导的句子。

如：
—Why do you like Beijing Opera (京剧)?
—Because it's very interesting.
▶ when是疑问副词，意为“什么时候；何时”，常用来询问时间。

如：
When is your mother's birthday?
▶ who是疑问代词，意为“谁”，用来询问人。

如：
Who do you like to help?
