How often,how long and how hard you exercise,and what kinds of exercises you do should be determined(坚决的,决定了的) by your goals (目标),your present(目前) fitness(适当)level,age,health,skills,interest and convenience(便利,便捷).
Your exercise should begin with a warm-up(热身) and end with a cool-down(冷却).

WARMUP---- 5-10 minutes of exercise such as walking,slow jogging(慢跑),knee(膝盖)lifts(举起,升高),arm circles(圆,环绕)or trunk rotations(转体).Low intensity movements that
simulate(模仿) movements to be used in the activity can also be included in the warm-up.
MUSCULAR STRENGTH---a minimum of two 20-minute sessions(时间)per week that include exercises for all the major muscle groups.Lifting weights is the most effective way to increase strength.
MUSCULAR ENDURANCE(肌肉耐力)—at least three 30-minute sessions each week that include exercises such as pushups,sit-ups,pull-ups,and weight training for all the major muscle groups.
FLEXIBILITY(伸展)---10-12 minutes of daily stretching exercises performed slowly,without a bouncing motion(弹跳动作).This can be included after a warm-up or during a cool-down.
COOL DOWN--- a minimum of 5—10 minutes of slow walking,low-level exercise,combined with stretching.
