happy adj.愉快的;高兴的 Happy birthday! 生日快乐! 句中的happy用于表达祝愿。 回答时一般用Thank you. —Happy Teachers’ Day! 教师节快乐! —Thank you. 谢谢。 happy还可以用作adj, “高兴的,愉快的” 相当于glad。 She has a happy party. 她过了一个愉快的聚会。
基数词变序数词的顺口溜:
一二三特殊记 (first/second/third)
th从四加起 (fourth/sixth/seventh/eighth)
八去t,九去e (eighth/ninth)
f来把ve替 (fifth / twelfth)
ty变成tie (twentieth/thirtieth)
(2)May 2nd(5月2日)/January 17th(1月17日)是 日期的表达法. 表达具体日期通常为“月份+序数词”,月份为专有名词,首字母 必须大写、书写时日期可以是序数词,也可以是基数词。
6月8日 June 8th 或 June 8 8月3日 August 3rd 或 August 3 英语中表示具体年、月、日的方式通常有两种: “月+日+年”或“日+月+年”。年份要用逗号隔开。 2012年12月9日可表达为:September 9th, 2012
