I am writing to tell you about the English Speech Contest I took part in yesterday.
As the only competitor from our class, I had to compete against other 14 excellent participants selected from the whole school. When it was my turn, I got a little bit nervous at first, but soon I calmed down at the thought of your instructions. Then everything went smoothly.
I performed so well that the judges and audience gave me a big round of applause. Although the question-and-answer section was the most challenging, I managed to get it through properly with the techniques you taught me. When the judge announced the final result, I was very excited that I got the first prize, which was totally beyond my imagination.
