可数名词单数变复数的规则
一．规则变化
1.直接加s。
如：desk-desks
2.以s,x,sh,ch结尾的加es，如：box-boxes,bus-buses,match-matches
3.辅音字母加y结尾，变y为i,再加es。
如：baby-babies。
但前为元音字母时，直接加s，如：boy-boys（元音字母：a.e.i.o.u）
4.以o结尾的，一般来说，有生命的加es.(potato/potatoes,tomato/tomatoes), 无生命的加s(zoo/zoos,photo/photos)
5.以f或fe结尾的，变f/fe变为v，再加es（knife/knives.life/lives）有些直接加词尾s，如chief/chiefs首领 roof/roofs屋顶
