酒店管理专业英语教学大纲一、说明1.课程的性质和内容本课程既是文化素质教育课，又是一门职业基础课。
因此，课程的任务既要培养学生计算机英语的阅读能力，又要为学生介绍一定的计算机技术。
本课程为计算机相关专业的必修课，考试课程，同时课程将为学生今后的专业课的学习培养必要的文化素质（阅读英文原版教材的能力、能够借助字典或者字典软件阅读一般的专业英文技术资料、阅读计算机相关设备的英文原版说明书），也为学生将来的自学打下良好的基础。
2.课程的要求和任务在课程内容教学要求的层次上，按“掌握、了解”两个层次要求。
通过本课程的教学，使学生掌握一定数量的常用现代计算机专业英语词汇，能够比较熟练地看懂计算机屏幕信息的英语提示、菜单、帮助文件及出错信息，并能够基本阅读和翻译计算机的软、硬件手册、资料和说明书；能够阅读简单的计算机科普文章；能根据实际需要查阅相关的英文资料；学习和巩固计算机专业的基本概念和知识。
