伦敦大学学院University College London伦敦大学学院图书馆、一、学校简介学校历史伦敦大学学院（University College London，简称UCL）是一所创建于1826年的综合性大学，也是伦敦大学的创校学院。
创校之初名为伦敦大学（University of London），1836年与国王学院合并后放弃原伦敦大学校名，改名为伦敦大学学院。
UCL是继牛津、剑桥之后英格兰第三古老的大学，也是伦敦的第一所大学。
UCL是第一个在招生上不论种族，宗教和政治信仰的英国大学，被认为是英国教育平等权的先锋。
在伦敦大学二十多个学院中，伦敦大学学院是最大的学院，其规模和人数远超过其姊妹学院帝国理工，伦敦政治经济学院，伦敦商学院，国王学院，女王学院，皇家霍洛威等。
伦敦大学学院与剑桥、牛津、帝国理工、伦敦政经并称“G5超级精英”大学，代表了英国最顶尖的科研实力、师生质量、经济实力。
伦敦大学学院有教学及研究人员共3800多名，教授600多位，教授总数和女教授人数都是全英最多的。

Your first year will be centred on design studio projects which develop the central skills of observation, design and representation, with emphasis on the inventive and intelligent expression of ideas. Complementing this are lecture courses on history and theory, production of the built environment, and technology. In your second term you will participate in a field trip to a major European city.In years two and three, you join one of up to nine design units, with each unit offering a different architectural approach. The range of units allows you to develop personal architectural interests and to work with architecture in relation to subjects as diverse as film, fashion, history, philosophy and science.Your work in the second and third year studio is complemented by a core lecture series in technology, computing, professional studies, history and theory. You will also benefit from a range of open lectures and exhibitions visiting the Bartlett throughout the year.
