“What”引导的特殊疑问句
特殊疑问句是对句子中的某一部分提出疑问，并要求对方做出回答的句子。

回答时不能用“Yes”或“No”开头，需根据所提的问题做出具体的回答。

“what”引导的特殊疑问句，常用来询问“什么”。

① 对某个具体的事物提问。

如：
What are those? 那些是什么？
② 对日期或星期提问。

如：
—What′s the date today? 今天是几号？
—It′s August 25th. 今天是8月25号。

—What day is it today? 今天星期几？
—It′s Wednesday. 今天星期三。

③ 对颜色提问。

如：
What colour is the apple? 苹果是什么颜色？
④ 对具体时间提问。

如:
What time do you get up in the morning? 你早上几点起床？
At half past six. 6点半。

⑤ 对天气提问。

如：
What was the weather like yesterday? 昨天天气怎么样？
⑥ 对数量或数目提问。

如：
What′s 4 and 6? 4加6等于几？
⑦对容貌或特征提问。

如：
What is she like? 她是个什么样的人？
⑧ 询问职业、身份。

如：
What do you do? 你是做什么的？。
