今天，我决定参加竞争室副主任职务，有以下几点理由：第一，我认为自己具备担任副主任职务的政治素质这么多年来，我始终坚持马列主义、毛泽东思想和邓小平理论，坚持用“三个代表”重要思想武装自已，不断加强党性修养，坚守入党宣誓时对党的庄严承诺，对党忠诚、坦白，严守党的纪律。

做到了在精神状态上，不分心走神，始终与党中央保持高度一致；在廉政建设上，不以权谋私；在执纪执法上不徇私情；在生活作风上，守得住清贪，耐得住寂寞，挡得住诱憾，保持了一个纪检干部良好的政治品质，为更好地做好纪检工作奠定了良好的政治思想基础。

第二、我认为自已具备担当副主任职务的思想素质我于1987年11月参军，历任班长、排长、副中队长、中队长、团机关运输股长。

20*年8月转业服从组织安排到市纪委监察局工作。

这么多年来，我始终奉行两条工作纪律：一是奉行吃苦耐劳、求真务实的精神。

从军营到地方，我深深懂得“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来”的道理，尤其是15年军旅生涯的艰苦磨练，培养了我“流血流汗不流泪”和“特别能吃苦、特别能战斗、特别能奉献”的良好品质，以服从命令为“天职”的军旅生涯，养成了我遇事不含糊，办事不拖拉，雷厉风行、求真务实的严谨工作作风。

二是奉行严于律已、诚实守信的精神。

参加工作之初，我曾多年在基层连队工作，既要维护连队干部的权威，又要和战士们打成一片，正因为具有良好的人格魅力，同战友建立了亲如兄亲的深厚感情，所在连队多次被评为优秀连队，个人先后两次荣立三等功。

到纪委工作后，我在生活和工作中，不断加强个人修养和党性锻炼，以“老老实实做人，勤勤恳恳做事”为信条，严格要求自己，尊敬领导，团结同志，应该说得到了领导和同事的肯定。

第三、我认为自己具备担任副主任职务的能力一是我实现了从军人到干部的角色转变。

老实说，初到纪委之时，我和所有的军队转业干部一样，经历了一个从不适应到适应，从适应到熟悉的过程。

为缩短适应进程，早日进入“角色”。

我把学习作为头等大事来抓，努力向书本学，向同志学。

切实在对纪检工作方针、原则、政策、法规的系统把握上下功夫，在掌握纠风工作的内在规律，提高认识问题、分析问题、解决问题的能力上下功夫，在提高自己综合素质上下功夫。

二是我实现了从理论到实践的角色转换。

我十分注重理论联系实际，坚持学以致用，在实际工作中不断地提高理论和业务水平。

在纪委监察局工作的两年时间里，我先后调查处理了南部县盘龙镇、阆中市双龙镇加重农民负担案件，南充市九中、西充县晋城中学等乱收费案件，先后参加了南充大都会受贿窝案、杨毓培卖官案和宾碧芳案的查处工作及嘉陵区国有土地清理工作，为南充的端正党风、反贪倡廉和维护人民群众的根本利益竭尽了我的全力。

通过两年多的学习和实践，我熟悉和掌握了纪检监察机关工作业务，培养了自已独立思考、独立工作的能力。

三是我实现了从被动工作到主动工作的角色转换。

无论是在部队工作还是在纪委监察局工作，没有进入角色的时候，我能认真负责地接受领导的工作安排，熟悉工作后，我积极主动地思考问题，尽力向直接领导和分管领导献言献策，当好他们的参谋助手，逐步煅炼了我的领导才能和组织协调能力。

通过这种积极的工作态度，在部队担任连长的五年时间和运输股长的三年时间里，我积累了丰富的基层和中层领导工作经验。

纠风工作是一项组织协调难度大、工作接触面广的工作，在这里工作的两年时间里，我先后协助、协调有关部门开展了多次治乱纠风专项治理，参与查处了一些损害人民群众利益的违纪案件，进一步培养和锻炼了自已组织、领导、协调能力，受到了领导和有关职能部门的好评。

同志们，竞争的机会是均等的，也是优胜劣汰的，机遇与挑战同在，我相信机遇从来都是垂青于勤勉、执著的耕耘者。

我工作上的勤勉与艰辛的付出，得到了领导的认可，我的为人，得到同志的赞许。

今天，如果我能竞岗成功，一方面，我决不骄傲，决不以中层干部自居，心不变，头不昏，我还是我，还是一个纪委监察局小小的一份子，另一方面，我将承领导的信任和同事们的关怀而奋起，团结同事，尊重领导，认真地履职尽责，当好主任的参谋助手。
