初中英语-巧学冠词的用法（附练习题及答案）
一.冠词用法歌诀：
名词是秃子,常要戴帽子。

若为特指时，须用定冠the。

可数名词单,须用a或an。

复数不可数,泛指the不见。

辅音音素前用a,元音音素前用an。

碰到代词时，冠词均不见。

说明：
①口诀第2、3句讲的是不定冠词的用法，即单数可数名词泛指或第一次提到，要用不定冠词a或an。

②不论单数还是复数，只要是特指(即说话双方心目中都明白指的是那个或哪些)，就要用定冠词the。

这便是第4句的意思。

③最后两句是不用冠词的情况，即在不可教名词前，不用冠词；复数名词表示泛指时，不用冠词；如果名词前已经有this, that, these,those whose, which,
my ,your，their. his ,her ,its ,some，every等一类词时，就不能再加定冠词，因为这时它已经比较明白了。

例如:
This is a chicken and that is an egg.
这是一只鸡，那是一个蛋。

You are a young man. He is an old man.
你是年轻人，他是老年人。

What's in the box?盒子里装的是什么?
That is his bike.那是他的自行车。

二.巧记冠词用法歌诀：
(一)只用定冠词the的歌诀：
沙漠、河流与群山，
方位、朝代、独一词，
列岛、海峡与海湾，
会议、文件及报刊，
阶级、党派、国家名，
木器、建筑、海洋群，
组织、团体和机关，
定冠词the不能删。

(二)冠词省略歌诀（不用冠词的情况）：
泛指复数日三餐，星期月份节假日，
球类运动季节前，抽象物质或习惯。

说明：
①以上情况省略冠词。

②注意：农历的节假日需用定冠词。

③泛指单数可数名词前用不定冠词。
