ACS投稿语言及格式应注意的问题
1. 标题页
∙标题每个单词的首字母都要大写，介词连词除外。
文章中的子标题也遵守这个写法。
∙不同单位之间单独分开，结尾不用逗号分开，比如，

不同单位使用†, ‡, §作为引用符号，而不是使用a, b, c。

2. ACS大部分期刊不使用关键词。
不需使用关键词的期刊：JACS, Macromolecules, Chem. Mater., Langmuir, JPCC
需使用关键词的期刊：Nano Lett.. ACS Nano,
3. 连接符的使用
∙由连字符连接构成的形容词，每个单词之间需使用连字符。
cross-linked (NOT crosslinked)
freeze-dried (NOT freeze dried)
high-resolution (NOT high resolution)
∙non,multi,ultra等前缀可以和许多字组成复合字，可连写或加连字符，但ACS倾向不使用连字符，但若第二字字首为大写时,则必须加连字符。

4. 数字、单位和符号的使用
∙数字与单位之间用空格隔开

∙当数字小于10时，不要用阿拉伯数字直接表示，如five (not 5)，当数字大于四位数时，从后往前隔三位用空格隔开，如22 000 (not 22000)。
∙Brunauer―Emmett―Teller 用Horizontal bar，另外上标中的负号也用Horizontal bar。

∙当两个或两个以上的数字连续出现时，可省去前几个单位，在最后一个数字之后写上单位。

5. 图注、表注末尾的标点
∙ Scheme和Table说明语句后无标点；Figure说明语句后有标点。
∙图注开头不要使用冠词。

∙图序正文段落中的引用，有一定的格式要求，应为Figure 4, parts a and b，而非Figures 4a and 4b或Figures 4 a and b；同样SI中的图表在文中引用格式为Supporting Information, Figures S3 and S4。
6. 致谢部分
The financial support of … is acknowledged.
Supporting Information Available 不同内容之间仍用逗号，不用分号，如Details of experimental materials and measurements, synthetic procedures of the …。
