The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now in Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.
The Great Pyramid was the tallest manmadestructure in the world for over 3,800 years,the longest period of time ever held for such a record.
The Neo-Babylonian Empire king ,who built the gardens is reported to have constructed the gardens to please his homesick wife, who longed for the trees and fragrant plants of her homeland. The gardens were said to have been destroyed by several earthquakes after the 2nd century BC.
