旬考每10天举行一次，在旬假前进行， 考10 天 内所学的课程，由博士主持，旬 考分及格与不及格，及格有赏，不及格 有罚 岁试 即岁考，在每年年终前进行，考学生一 年内所学的课程。由博士主持，考试经义10 条，通晓8条 为上第，通晓6条为中第，通晓 5条为下第。下第为不及格，须当重习，即留 级。如果留级后仍不及格 ，罚其补习9年，9 年仍无长进，则令其退学。
