Currently, the most important task is to develop domestic economy and improve people’s living standard. To achieve the goal, we must alter the old economic system, so as to further production. Besides, we should also open up to the world, to learn science and technology from other countries. To receive millions of foreign tourists annually, our tourism department has tried all means to improve accommodation facilities. To meet the needs of increasing development of tourism industry, new tourism centers are being exploited in many areas, more and more modern hotels are being built, and more foreign language speaking guides are being trained.(3)教育在社会经济发展和提高人类文化素质方面起着重要的作用。

Education plays an important role in developing social economy and improving human’s cultural qualities. The progress of science and technology will give a big push to the development of education. While educational development will advance of science and technology in turn. As a result, it is very necessary to put educational development in a significant position.(4)不吸烟者的权利问题在许多国家里开始讨论。
迄今为止，多数国家很少或还没有采取措施。
众所周知，从长远的观点看，如果能完全禁止吸烟，那么人们的境况将得到很大的改善。

The issue of non-smokers’ right began to be argued so far. However, most countries have taken little or even no actions on it. The role of TV in our daily life is mainly reflected in two aspects, namely entertainment and information. The entertainment includes movie, music sports and so on, and information contains news, education programs, TV lectures and so forth. The entertainment makes our life more colorful, while information enables us to keep in touch with what is happening around us. (9)在我们这个时代，任何人想要在社会上起到所希望起的作用，必须接受必要的教育。

In our times, anyone who wants to play an important role in a society as he wishes must receive basic education. With the development of science, more and more courses are offered in primary and middle schools. Compared with the traditional educaiton, modern education puts more emphasis on practicality.(10)个人主义和集体主义渗透进东西文化的方方面面，影响着美国和中国的经济、政治、伦理道德和价值观，在交往方式上尤为如此。
