拍摄研究区域植物特点，结合实地的调查研究，对南京师范大学的植物种类及组成进行分析。
调查南京师范大学校园内植物调查南京师范大学校园植物群落。
综合调查研究结果表明：（1）南京师范大学随园校区共有植物46科124种，其中乔木63种，灌木44，草本17种。
其中乔木种中水杉、雪松、悬铃木为应用频率较高植物；灌木种中大叶黄杨、红花继木、海桐、杜鹃为应用频率较高植物；地被植物种中鸢尾、麦冬、高羊茅、白三叶草为应用频率较高植物。
（2）南京师范大学随园校区植物主要造景方式为规整式，自然式为辅。
乔木多列植、对植、孤植。
灌木多为丛植呈带状，或修建为球状散植；在整体空间上植物群落以中轴线对称式为主。
但局部景观排列较散乱，缺乏连续性。
