《大学英语二(读写)》教学大纲《大学英语二(读写)》教学大纲(金审)(College English Reading andWriting II)(Golden Audit School)编制单位:外国语学院编写人:大学英语读写II 组审核人:潘明霞编制时间:2013年2月25日1第一部分课程概述一、基本信息(一)课程代码09111090(二)课程属性、学分、学时必修课,2学分,36课时(三)适用对象金审学院非英语专业一年级(四)先修课程与知识准备本课程的先修课程是高中英语课程,在入学分级考试中处于一级起点水平,上学期通过一级期末考试、顺利进入二级水平学习者。

二、课程简介《大学英语?(读写)》课程主要针对金审学院非英语专业本科一年级英语二级水平的学生进行精读、快速阅读理解、书面表达和基础汉英翻译等方面训练的实用性课程。

教程为学生提供了大量饶有趣味、发人深思的现代文欣赏和分析,自始至终激励学生扩展词汇量、打好阅读与写作基础,并设计了大量的实践性活动以提高学生的英语运用能力。

通过本课程的学习,学生能了解大量语言知识和英汉文化差异,并重点掌握基本段落书面表达,略读、寻读等阅读技巧和汉英词组或句子翻译等内容。

三、教学目标本课程通过《新视野大学英语读写教程》第二册精读以及配套快速阅读系列教材的教学,进一步帮助学生打下扎实的语言基础,培养学生的英语综合应用能力,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高文化素养,使学生在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行书面的信息交流,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。

在提高学生英语基础知识的基础上,侧重基本技能尤其是读、写能力的培养和训练。

因此,课堂上教师授课主要以讲解、学生参与为主,在总体把握课文的同时,有重点地分析、鉴赏课文的行文和主旨,做到语言能力和语用能力并重,技能和思想兼顾。

教学方法上建议教师授课以学生为中心,教学过程中要尽力避免老师—学生这种单向灌输模式。

应多组织学生就某些话题、事件、文化现象展开讨论,培养学生思考分析的能力,鼓励思辨,反对被动接受。

具体说来,本课程的教学要求如下:阅读理解能力:能读懂语言难度一般的普通题材的文章,学会基本的阅读技能。

一般阅读速度为60-70wpm,快速阅读速度为80-90wpm,能就阅读材料进行略读或寻读,获取所需信息。

正确理解中心大意,抓住主要事实和有关细节;书面表达能力:能根据所学课文做笔记、回答问题、完成提纲和填写表格,能就所给题目在半个小时内写出100-120词左右的短文。

内容比较完整连贯,条理清楚,语法基本正确。

翻译能力:能翻译难度相当于课文的英语文章,理解正确,译文基本达意。

能运用适当的翻译技巧译出句子结构比较简单的汉语,译文达意,无语法错误。

词汇量:掌握的总词汇量应达到4500个单词,其中2500个积极词汇。

以及由这些词构成的常用词组,并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力。

3七、学习要求本课程要求学生开展自主学习,根据教师的布置,课前、课后利用网络自主学习平台,完成相应的作业和测试;课堂上积极参与课堂教学内容的讨论;课后通过网络自主学习平台复习并自我拓展;课下和组员及时交流沟通,完成调研报告的撰写并提交书面报告。

八、考核方案本课程的学期考核评价分为平时成绩、期中成绩和期末成绩构成。

平时成绩占学期成绩的35,; 构成平时成绩的主要评价项目是:学生出勤与课堂参与(10%),平时作业(15%),小组合作课题研究(10%)。

学期开始将每个班分成若干小组,每组选择一个教师推荐的课题、或自拟主题开展研究性学习,写出书面报告,并在课堂上进行口语汇报。

期中成绩占5%,随堂闭卷进行。

期末笔试占课程总成绩的60%。

由课程组按教学大纲的要求进行统一命题。

考试内容为本课程的重要知识点和英语技能,综合考察学生一学期以来的英语学习情况。
