Step I Greet the class and check the homework .
Step II Section A 1a
Now open your books to Page to 13 . Look at the vacation activities in the picture ,please . Can you tell me what you see in the picture ? S: camping ,babysitting, playing basketball, watching TV
Write the activities down on the blackboard . Then ask students to make a list and add some more .
Check the answers .
Step III Listening
Display the wall calendar .Point to the next weekend on the calendar .Tell students what you are going to do on Saturday or Sunday .Then introduce the question to go with the answer.
Listen to the tape and write a conversation number from 1 to 3 in each box . .
Play the tape for students and have them fill in the answers .
Step IV Pairwork
Read the dialogue in 1c to students .
What is she doing for vacation ?
She is babysitting her sister .
Ask students to look at the picture . Explain babysitting to students .
Now work with a partner .Ask and answer questions about the people in the picture .
Then ask some pairs to ask and answer the question as the rest of the students listen .
Step V Summary and Homework..
This class we have learnt some key vocabulary and done an oral practice. You learn to make plans for tomorrow. Your work will be well done.
