（3）能在外事、经贸、文化、新闻出版、教育、科研、旅游等部门从事翻译、教学、管理、研究等工作。
The educational objectives are:(1)Proficiency in English and French listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation.(2) A wide scope of knowledge in literature, culture and science.(3)Qualifications for careers in commerce, education and various foreign affairs sectors astranslators, teachers, administrators and researchers.（二）毕业要求（1）具有良好的政治思想素质和道德品质。

（12）具有实用文体的写作能力，做到内容充实，语言通顺，用词恰当，表达得体。

（14）具有翻译能力，能自觉地运用翻译理论与技巧进行翻译实践。

（32）掌握专业基础知识，包括英语及法语语音、语法、词汇、篇章结构、语言功能意念等基础知识。
（33）了解语言的本质特征、语言的功能、语音、词汇、句法、意义等方面的基本概念、基本知识和基本理论。
（34）了解各类英语及法语的功能，掌握语言使用的“常规” 和“变异”，以及其在各种文体中所表现出的规律。
