bear在英文合同中常见的两种使用情形
bear含义非常丰富,但在合同中,其通常用于两种情形:
Ø 承担,如bear responsibility承担责任等,通常用被动语态,shall be borne by sb
Ø 产生(利息),如bear interest等
承担
例句一:
Each of the parties hereto shall bear and pay itsown costs and expenses, including but not limited to legal fees, relating tothe execution of this Agreement and the issue of the Bonds.
本协议各方应当承担并支付与签署本协议和发行债券有关的其各自的成本和费用,包括但不限于律师费。
例句二:
The cost of arbitration shall be borne by the losing party.
仲裁费用应由败诉方承担。
产生(利息)
The Convertible Bond represented by this Convertible Bond Instrument bears interest (the Interest) from (and including) its Convertible BondIssue Date to (but excluding) the Original Maturity Date or, if the OriginalMaturity Date is extended pursuant to Condition 7.2 (Extension), the Final Maturity Date at the rate of seven andone halfper cent. (7.5%) per annum (the InterestRate) on the outstanding aggregate principal amount of the Convertible Bondrepresented by this Convertible Bond Instrument.
本可转换债券契据所代表的可转换债券自(且包含)其可转换债券发行之日至(但不含)原始到期日(或如果原始到期日按照第7.2条(延期)延期的,则至最终到期日)有利息(下称“利息”)产生,就本可转换债券契据所代表的可转换债券未偿付的本金总额而言,每年百分之七点五(7.5%)的比率。
