一、 教材分析:

本单元的中心话题是“天气”。具体涉及到天气的种类、天气的变化、以及人类生活对气候的影响等。本课时是本单元的第一部分,由‘Warm-up(热身)、Pronunciation(语音)和Listening(听力)三部分组成。

第一部分是Warm-up,要求学生根据图片问答:What’s the weather like?—It’s sunny/rainy...,并写出相关天气的形容词,目的是帮助学生巩固常见天气的英文表达。

第二部分是Pronunciation,学生通过听录音与模仿单词重音,总结发音规则。

第三部分是Listening,学生边听边选择相应的单词,目的是听高学生听英语的能力和捕捉具体信息的能力。

二、学情分析:

职业学校的学生(特别是机械班、数控班等男生数量占绝大多数的班级学生)对学习英语兴趣普遍不浓,没有积极性,为了提高他们学习英语的积极性,提高课堂效率,在教学中,我利用网络,搜索了大量与课文内容相关的图片,歌曲、视频,自制卡片,并根据教材和学生的特点设计了多个游戏,使课堂活动生动活泼,既提高了兴趣又掌握了内容。

三、教学目标:

知识目标:

1。掌握常用的形容不同天气情况的词汇。[重点]

2。掌握描述天气情况的简单句型。[重难点]

3。能区别关于天气的名词与形容词的用法[重难点]

4.掌握五个单元音的发音及其单词归类[难点]

5。了解人类活动对气候的影响

技能目标:

1。能运用简单的句型问答天气信息[重点]

2.能听懂简单的句子。

3.能正确朗读单词并发音归类。

情感目标:

1. 提高学生关注天气的意识。

2. 通过了解人类活动对气候的影响,提高保护环境和自然的意识。

教学策略:

直观教学、游戏教学、启发式教学

教学辅助:

多媒体、卡片、黑板、录音机、白纸片、小树、篮子

四、教学过程:

(一).教学过程主要包括教学设计流程和具体教学过程

to do and do it seriously 尊重学生个体差异,分层作业,让学生量力而行,享受作业乐趣从而达到巩固所学知识的目的。

(二)具体教学过程

Step1. .Lead-in

T: Good morning, nice to see you! How are you today? Do you like playing games?

S: yes.

T: Now, let’s play the game .Here are some cards in my hand, there is a big letter in every card .I will show it to the last student in each

group, when the last one see the big letter, please write it onto the back of student in front of him \her with finger, then the next student do

the same like this .next to next ,till to the first one .at last ,the first one show me the letter.(W E A T H E R )

S:OK

T: What letter will you show me ?Let’s put these letters together in order.WEATHER,Can you read the word ?what do you say in

Chinese ?

S: 天气。

T:yes ,now look at the picture ,it’s a picture of weather report in different part of china ,from here ,we know where it is raining ,where it is

sunny…..and so on .For example, XX is sunny ….

S: ..............

T: As we all know , weather is very important in our daily lives, today ,we will learn sth more about weather.

Step2。Ask and answer

T: What’s the weather like ?(show pictures)

S:it’s sunny \rainy......

Step3.Practice

(A) Get students to practice in groups.,and then show them some cards to ask and answer in pairs or in groups.

(B) T: Do you know other words about weather?you can say it in Chinese.

S:Typhoon\ (Then show the flash )

© T:Let’s turn to warm up,open your books to page 55,and write them down according to the pictures.

(D):T:Now play another interesting game .(看规则),please read the rules. please take out a piece of paper,do it like this :“井。”Now the paper is divided into nine parts,I will say some words about weather,please write them down in any part.

T:Are you ready?Now I will say these words again ,if you find the words you have written are in the same line,please say :Bingo

loudly, ok?Wish you good luck.

Step4 .Pronunciation

(A) T: I will show you another five cards here,can you read them? How do you pronounce it ?

T: How do you write it ?show me your hand,write it like this.

T : Can you say some other words that is pronounced | a: |....?

(B)T: Listen to the tape and imitate

(c)T: Here is an apple tree,there are lots of apples on the tree. now here are five beautiful baskets,the basket must be filled with the apples

that are pronounced | ,the same to others .if you pick all your own apples into the basket,you will get a real apple from here.|

Step5.Listening

T:Listen to the tape and choose the you hear

Step6.Discussion

T:Look at the picture,it was a picture of our earth many years ago,he was smiling.but now he is crying ,do you know why he is crying?

S:..........

T:IS he ill? How do you know he is ill?Maybe we can know it from all kinds of unusual weather,can you say sth about unusual

weather?you can say it in Chinese.(先说灾害性天气再展示)

S:for example ,雪灾、洪水、干旱、龙卷风、海啸

T:now ,I will show you some pictures of different unusual weather.

(snow disaster\flood\drought\tornado\tsunami)

T:From the pictures ,we know that our earth is becoming worse and worse,you know ,earth is human’s mother,we should do what we can

to save our earth,but what can we do to save our earth ?you can discuss with your deskmates,I will give you two minutes to prepare.

T:I think .............(先讨论 ,再给图片 )

Step7.Enjoy a song

T:Next,let’s enjoy an English song by Jackson,the song is named “earth song”, from the song ,I’m sure you will feel strongly that we

should try our best to protect our earth.let’s enjoy it together.

Step8.Homework(choose any part)
