炉体和电源分别采用两套独立（也可采用一套）的全封闭冷却装置。
采用相互独立的二套冷却装置的目的是为了避免相互影响。
冷却塔的下面有集水盘，内装喷淋用水，集水盘的进水口装有浮球阀，能够自动控制集水盘内的水位，出水口有喷淋水泵。
因为中频电源需要低温的冷却水，出水温度要控制在55以内，由于电炉感应线圈的冷却水温度略高，这样反而能够提高电炉的热效率，同时减小冷却装置的体积，进而减低造价。
全封闭冷却装置的核心是喷淋蒸发式封闭冷却塔。
在冷却塔内部有许多散热盘管，循环水在盘管内部流动，与空气不接触。
冷却塔的上部装有喷水口和冷却风机。
工作时喷淋水泵将水泵到上部的喷水口，将水呈雾状喷淋到盘管外表面，冷却风机同时抽风，使喷淋水汽化从而带走盘管内循环水的热量。
这种先进型式的冷却装置具有很高的换热效率。
建议采用FSS-200封闭式循环冷却塔，能大量节约生产场地占地面积。
