In China, the majority of university students live in the university dorms on campus. Each dorm room houses four girls or four guys.
This is very different from housing in the U.S. Many American universities do not require students to live on campus, so many students live off campus in apartments.

--Unlike Chinese students, western students are much more busier in daily study. Their tutors will give them a reading list, including compulsory reading and selected reading. Students have to finish their reading, do experiment and write thesis(论 文).Also，their final exam are quite different from Chinese. There is always no paper examinations but a big assignment, thesis and practice examination
In China:
Teachers---Always write a lot on the blackboard or make PPT to show their ideas. Students---Just sit quietly and listen carefully ;take notes.

My conclusion:
Western University pay more attention to improving students” practice ability but not only theory knowledge. Chinese students are poor at practicing.
4、homework and examinarsity students are usually leisure after class because they have little homework to do ,but when the semester comes to the end, they are busy with preparing the final exam, which decides most part of their university scores.
