From afar, the singular triangular form of the main tower translates into a beacon with organic, shaped openings, recognizable from any direction in the city and allows for the expression of each use within the tower. The mixed use building has a shared identity, 3 sheathes of high-performance blue-tinted glass extend the full height of the building. At the office levels, this glass is continuous. As we move to the hotel and residential components of the tower, the edges of the blue glass gracefully separate, revealing the gardens, residences, and terraces clad in low-iron clear glass with horizontal sunshades that maximize daylight and allow an opportunity to incorporate natural ventilation into the residences. These sheathes are extended to the top of the tower where they reveal the public observation deck above organic, shaped openings that reduce wind pressure.
The dramatic amorphous opening at the top of the iconic tower relates to the main character of the overall landscape design, as does the curvilinear patterns of the retail podium building. The dynamic landscape design and the shape of the retail podium building harmonize with the curvilinear movements and flows of the convention center located just north of the site.
Accessed from a lobby along the Northeast side of the tower, 30 levels of office feature floor to ceiling glass and provide an equal 12 meter lease span on all sides. The plan allows for simple subdivision for partial floor tenants or efficient use by a single tenant.
The fluidity of the landscaped spaces informs the design of the undulating vortex void space at the apex of the tower. The vortex lines of the tower connects with the undulating fields of the landscape, which extends to the form of the retail podium building and to the organic form and landscape of the convention center, and finally merge with the ocean waves, creating a resonance with nature throughout this site.

The offices are served by 2 service elevators and 3 banks of express elevators with access to the low-, mid- and high-rise levels of the office floors.

戏剧化的塔楼顶部的洞口与场地总体的景观规划相呼应，与商业 群房的自由弧线也发生关系。生动的景观设计与商业群房由自由弧线 的手法和谐的与坐落在地块北侧的会议中心连接在一起。
景观绿化空间的流动性强化了塔楼起伏转动的顶部。塔楼的线 条与波动的绿地空间连接，进而延展到商业群房、会议中心的形态和 景观，最终与大海的海浪融为一体，在整块场地上创造出对自然的唱 和。

The Greenland Dalian East Harbor project, a 574,000 square meter mixed-use development situated at the terminal point of the main city axis, will create a beacon for Dalian to the world. The triangular form of the East Harbor Tower reflects the boldness and symmetry of a lighthouse while conveying a symbol of strength and grace. The gently curved form of the tower relates to the gently curved forms of the adjacent convention center. This approach also allows each function within the tower to have its own unique entry and identity.

绿地集团大连东港项目地块位于东港区的核心地段，毗邻国际会 议中心和大剧院，拥有无可比拟的文化、高端会议和稀缺海景资源。 总用地面积约6万平方米，总建筑面积约57.4万平方米， 超高层大楼 将伫立在城市的主要商业轴线与海弯的交界点上。在端部柔和弯曲的 三角形塔楼和邻近的现在正在施工的国际会议中心将形成完美的组 合。

The plots south of the main tower have four apartment buildings on the site. Each has their own address and own identity to the internal road. These buildings are connected though a two- story retail podium and the spacious landscape area to the south of the buildings will be dedicated to the residents. The site also contains two retail buildings adjacent, but separate, from the residential towers.
