本文以案例分析的方式，对美特斯邦威（以下简称：美邦）2010年到2014年在存货管理方面存在的问题进行分析。包括美邦让加盟商签订强制订货量的合同，来转移自身存货压力，还在直营店大打折扣，使加盟商利益受损。这些行为严重的破坏了存货供应链间的关系，但被背后的无奈，都是因为存货周转天数过长，大量存货积压在仓库，而存货在流动资产中的流动性又最差，这严重影响了企业的资金周转。本文以存货管理的相关理论为基础；以财务数据为支撑；以管理现状为依据，对美邦存货管理方面的问题进行分析，并提出相应的改善建议，希望对美邦以及我国存在相似问题的服装企业提供一些解决手段。

我国目前服装行业整体的存货管理水平偏低，很多都存在存货积压的问题，存货积压时间越长，对公司营运资金的周转越不利，而且会造成盈利能力下降，严重影响企业的长远发展。美邦作为本土著名的休闲服饰品牌，在08年的时候，一直以来的认可度都十分高但是12年的时候又强制性的签订订货的合同，从而对自身存货的压力进行转移。自此以后企业存货管理问题在业内被广泛关注。美邦存货管理问题逐年加剧，所以其也采取了一些手段来减轻存货压力，例如：大量直营店的促销和打折活动建立电商销售渠道，向加盟商制定高的订货指标。但存货管理问题却没有从根本上得到解决，大量的存货却一直困扰着美邦。2012年新闻曝光之后，美邦的市值不断下滑，股票价格波动较大，至今已跌至4.22元/每股，美邦存货管理问题再得不到解决的话，其长远发展着实令人堪忧。

21世纪是一个充满机遇和挑战的时代，各个行业发展迅猛，服装产业也不列外，但在迅猛发展的背后，也有很多不合理的问题，例如，服装企业的存货管理问题。因为存货对服装企业十分重要，确保了企业的正常运转，对采购过程中消耗的成本进行缩减，尽快的多客户的需求表示满足，让企业的运转更加灵活多变。但是，存货过多也会占用企业大量资金，对资金链产生一定的威肋。因此合理的存货量显得尤为重要。
