《实用英语写作》课程教学大纲学分: 4学分总学时:64时适用专业:大专层次的商务英语、旅游英语、会展英语专业先修课程:《基础英语》、《英语语法》、《英语阅读》等。
并修与后续课程:《外贸英语函电》《国际贸易实务英语》《国际商务英语谈判》《会展实务英语》《导游实务英语》等。
一、课程的性质与任务:1.课程的性质:本课程是商务、会展、旅游英语专业的必修专业基础课程。
2.课程的任务:本课程主要通过写作理论知识讲授与写作实践训练相结合,运用各种有效的教学方法,如:个案分析,课堂讨论,学生互改,教师面改,师生讲评,范文展示等,使学生系统掌握英语的句法结构,熟悉英汉思维模式的差异,培养初步的正确的英语句子表达能力,同时掌握简单的英语三段式的英语文章的写作,了解英语各种文体的表达方式和特点,扩大词汇量和熟悉英语常用句型,具备良好的笔头表达能力。
二、课程教学基本要求:本课程在加强英语语言基础知识和基本技能训练的同时,重视培养学生初步的写作能力,包括提纲,文章摘要,短文以及常用应用文写作。
通过要课程的学习,学生应达到以下几个要求:1.熟悉各类应用文的书写格式和写作方法;2.掌握大学英语四、六级考试作文的写作方法和技巧;3.能在阅读难度与课文相仿的书面材料时做笔记、回答问题、写提纲和摘要;4.能就一定的话题或提纲、表格或图示,在半小时内写出120-150个单词的短文;5.能写信函、便条和简历;6.写作格式正确,表达意思清楚得体,无重大语言错误。

采用形成性评价和终结性评价相结合的方式,学生课程考试成绩评定由平时成绩30%、期中考查30%与期末考试成绩40%三部分构成学生学期总成绩。
2.平时成绩评定平时成绩占30%,其中20%为课后翻译作业,10%根据学生课上表现,主要是回答问题、听课状态以及上课出勤率等情况综合评定给出。
3.期末考核评定期末考核通过闭卷考试来进行,占总成绩的70%。
