心理咨询室建设必备设备配备心理咨询室设备和资料建设的心理咨询室即环境优美、明快和谐、庄重高雅又不失科学性、文化性和教育性。

中心所配备的心理设备包括:心理健康档案测评软件、师生压力与情绪管理系统，沙盘套件，宣泄人、宣泄脸谱、宣泄棒、宣泄挂件、团体辅导箱、心理挂图、心理音乐、心理电影、心理图书、音乐放松椅等多种心理放松设备，是全省心理设备最为齐全的心理咨询室建设单位。

开展心理健康教育，既是学生自身健康成长的需要，也是社会发展对人的素质要求的需要。

自1999年教育部颁发《关于加强中小学心理健康教育的若干意见》以来，社会越来越关注中小学生心理健康教育。

各级教育行政部门和学校也在积极为心理健康教育创造必要的条件，配备专职心理健康教师，要求有条件的中学逐步建立和完善心理咨询室。

2008年，卫生部等17部门联合颁发《全国精神卫生工作体系发展指导纲要(2008年,2015年)》，指导纲要明确提出，到2010年中小学建立心理健康咨询室、设置专职教师并配备合格人员的学校比例，城市要达到40,、农村达到10,;2015年城市达到60,、农村达到30,。
