With the advancement of civilization and technology, every field begins to take adjustments to adapt and keep the high pace of the social development. Certainly, the mode of thought is no exception, a lot of traditional thinking styles need reforming and innovating. In order to recreate more bright civilization, it is high time that we should reinforce cooperation and communication between each country. Introduce and absorb their merits and advantages to serve ourselves. Easternization and westernization is an inevitable tendency. Gradually, the world will recreate a new kind of culture that collect the merits and advanced parts from every culture. IntroductionWhat is the thinking pattern? Firstly, let‟s look at the pioneers‟ opinion. The mode of thought is a race or a special area‟s thinking style, of course, the specified and accustomed thinking style needs time to formulate and alleviate. During the long history process, people will own their unique thinking pattern unconsciously. As we all know, there are many elements that determined a certain people will have a relative thinking, such as, economical system, political system, geographical environment, philosophy, religious belief, language and life style. Indeed, every country or nation has her own thinking pattern which is full of her own specialties, including outlook of life and world, social ceremony and accustoms. Therefore, there are many differencesbetween Chinese and western people, which has shown in the way of understanding the world and changing it. Then the outcome is widely divergent. As to the two kinds of thinking patterns, it is unwise to comment which one is superior or inferior. Exactly speaking, they all have their advantages and disadvantages. With the enhancement of the human civilization, no matter in the realm of daily life or in economy and society, globalization is an inevitable trend. In order to let C hina fully participate in the course of globalization, it‟s high time that we should accelerate the communication with the world. At the same time, it is necessary to absorb their cream in every field. But now, I have to declare that drawing experience from other countries for reference does not mean to be completely westernized, let alone, it means worship foreign things and foreign power. As a Chinese with a sense of responsibility, everyone has duty and obligation to spread our traditional nice virtues and good qualities. However, according to practice, we can not deny that there exists unsuitable and backward part in our traditional culture, which already prevented the step of our modernization and development. Therefore, we should hold scientific, fair and subjective attitude to find the demerits in our mode of thinking. Thus, it is possible to reform and innovate.Moreover, western culture masters the development of the world‟s civilization based on their powerful position. But when the human enjoyed the rational thinking and the technical progress that western civilization provided, they are also aware that the calamities‟coming, ecological balance breaking, species extincting, the emerge of all kinds of new disease and frequent economical crisis. If we want to explore a better way for the world culture, it must evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese and western thinking style again, under the condition of contrast and comparison, so that we could recreate wiser world‟s civilization. Indeed, Chinese culture and western culture are two rivers that are impossible to intersect, but today under the influence of globalization, they flow together at a certain point. Due to all kinds of modern skill and advanced technology, all kinds of culture in the world begin to enter the era of link, function and impinge each other. These two cultural rivers converge in a special time. It does not mean that they are only two straight lines intersect at a point or their distance between each other will be further and further. On the contrary, I think they will converge into a mighty current. It also will create a new kind of culture based on the cultural mix. Because in every certain historical phase, restricted by different politics, economy and culture, gradually, it will create a uniquethinking pattern that will be full of this era‟s characters. Therefore, in the future, Chinese, even the people in the world, the trend of their thinking mode will merge into an original whole.Through learning about the Chinese and western thinking pattern, and combine with our daily life, it is evident that every kind of thinking mode has its own demerits. Just like our philosophical belief, there is no perfect thing in the world, of course, our thinking style is no exception. It is necessary to reform and innovate to meet the need of society‟s development. We have to confess that some traditional culture become an obstacle in the process of promotion. Moreover, it‟s difficult to suit the development of economical efficiency and speed. Now the circumstances need to reform and innovation introduce and absorb their excellent traditional things that can promote our progress and cultivate our potential. At the same time, we should not forget to spread and carry forward our excellent culture. Thus, it is a real interdependence, and let the world learn about China fully. In short, to learn from other s‟ strong points to offset our own weaknesses, we can keep up with the pace of modernization; we can exchange message and culture successfully; we can establish ourselves in an unassailable position in future.Ⅱ.The reason why there are differences between Chinese and western thinking patterns2.1. Because of different political system, China experienced a feudal society. The thought of deep-rooted feudal autocracy control their behavior. I remember one of the great philosophiers said: “if you want to restrict one‟s behav ior, firstly, you should control his or her thought.” In ancient feudal society, the wise rulers used all kinds of ridiculous rules to control ordinary people‟s mind s. Equality, right, freedom is the Arabran Nights to them. In their minds, well-behaved and law-abiding can exchange peaceful life. Therefore, Chinese all tend to dutiful or obey orders. In contrast to Chinese, the western people focus on individualism rather than on mass. In the US, they always talk about individual rights, instead of placing the whole society above oneself. They have 200 years‟ history and no feudal society in their mind s.2.2. Different economical system. Chinese traditional economy is self-sufficient natural economy. The conscious of small-scale peasant economy makes people lack of communication with outer world, vision become narrow and limited, thought stop up. They ate so-called shuts their eyes, stops their ears and totally cuts themselves off from the objective world. In this agricultural society, people realized that the harvest has a close relationship with favorable weather, and livings rely on the bounty of nature. Gradually, the Chinese hold that to resolve therelationship between man and nature, the Chinese attempts to fuse the human and “heaven” as one, and emphasis internal cultivation, to resolve people and people‟s relationship, Chinese use ethics and tolerance. On the contrary, west is based on industrial civilization, which originates from ancient Greek. They are fond of exploring astronomy, meteorology, mathematics, physics and so on. They accelerate the formulation of natural exploration. In addition, organizational, scientific and democratic principles exert a favorable influence on a people‟s character. Undoubtedly, equality, freedom, competition, adventurousness, independence are the distinct characteristics in their spirits.2.3. Different cultural atmosphere. Now let us go back to our origination respecting. The differences mainly exist in philosophy, religion and culture. According to their outlook of human nature, Chinese traditional original humanity is kind. They attach great importance to human inborn nature that is gentle and kind. They think of the man go bad because of the impact of the social environment. However, the western peopl e hold that the man‟s inborn nature is evil. For Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit, they commit the original crime. So they lost their paradise and fall in the world to suffer all kinds of tortures and live in misery. In their minds, salvation is the only solution to get free.Ⅲ。
