当前有许多企业，特别是一些中小企业，把主要的精力投入到提高销售和扩大规模上，却忽视了存货管理中的很多问题，致使大多数的中小企业存货管理水平较低，存货占用了大量的资金，管理粗放等。
但近几年来，上至国家下至百姓，都较为关注中小企业的发展趋势，许多企业也结合自身的实际情况采取了一些相关的管理措施加强存货管理，但总体上中小企业的存货管理还是处于比较落后的状态。
相当多的中小企业面临着发展缓慢，经营管理等问题，导致其在激烈的市场竞争中面临着巨大困难。
不能做大、不能做强，其原因既有外部因素，也有内部因素，其中，存货管理就是影响其发展的一个重要内部因素。
本文针对当前中小企业存货管理所面临的问题，提出相应的防范与措施。
旨在分析存货管理所产生的影响。
同时中小企业也应该认识到自身的不足，不断地学习和完善存货管理的理念，建立科学的管理制度，保持适当的存货量，控制存货成本等来提高最大的经济效益。
同时使得存货管理保证生产正常进行，能有效地服务于基本生产、技术改造的全过程。
存货管理的好坏已成为衡量企业管理制度是否完善、存货储备是否合理、流动资金占用是否最佳等重要标志。
因此，企业应加强与改善存货管理措施，以达到促进企业做大、做强的目的。

然而，存货管理薄弱导致其在激烈的市场竞争中面临巨大的困难。
如何节约成本是企业立足的根本条件，相关的材料成本趋向平价的时候，加强管理也就成为了企业生存的重要条件。
总之，通过加强企业存货管理，达到降低企业综合成本的目标，有效地保证企业生产经营活动的连续正常进行，从而提高产品的竞争能力，确保企业持续、稳定、健康地发展。
目前，国内许多中小企业在存货管理方面存在很多问题，这些问题不但影响企业资产的流动能力、资产管理的效率和盈利能力，也不同程度地制约着公司的发展，甚至关系到企业的生存和发展。
对中小企业而言，加强存货管理，不仅可以帮助会计人员进行存货的核算，使企业能以最低的成本获得最大的利润，还有助于降低平均资金占用水平，提高企业经济效益，提供的各种库存报表和库存分析可以为企业的决策提供依据，达到存货管理的最终目标。
在竞争日益激烈的今天，组织好存货管理，是保证企业正常生产经营的物质基础；做好存货管理工作，能降低生产成本；科学合理的存货储备，能促使企业流动资金的占用更趋于合理，使资金周转加速，企业经济效益方能得以提高。
第一章中小企业存货管理的概述中小企业是国民经济的重要组成部分，对社会经济发展和社会稳定起着举足轻重的促进作用，然而多数企业单纯追求销量和市场份额，忽视存货管理的核心地位，企业存货管理的作用没有得到充分发挥。
