二、知识讲解
1.目的状语从句
引导目的状语从句最常用的是so that (从句谓语通常有情态动词) , in order that, in case (以 防万一), for fear that(以防,以免)等。如: ①Say it louder so that /in order that everyone can hear you. ②I will explain it to you in details for fear that you make a mistake. ③Better take more clothes in case the weather is cold. [注意] in order that比so that更正式,引导的目的状语从句可置于主句前后,而so that只能茜跟茜在老主师句之后。

解析:考查结果状语从句。由题意可知:他如此聪明,我们都喜欢他。a dlever boy一个聪明的男孩, dever修饰名词
boy ,用such+a/an+adj.+n.单+that结构。故一个空填such;第二个空填that.
[练习]请将下列句子改写为目的状语从句: He took medicine on time so as to get well sooner. He took medicine on time so that he could get well sooner.
2.结果状语从句
结果状语从句常由so... that或such... that引导,掌握这两个句型,首先要了解so和such与其后的词 的搭配规律。 (1) so和such其规律由so与such不同词性决定。such 是形容词,修饰名词或名词词组, so是副词,只 能修饰形容词或副词。so 还可与表示数量的形容词many, few, much, little连用,形成固定搭配, 此时不能与such进行互换。 eg. so nice a flower/ such a nice flower so many /few flowers /such nice flowers
3,我们的谈话太愉快 了以至于忘记了时间。

3.让步状语从句
连接状语从句常见的连接词有though, although, even if, even though等。 (1)当有though, although时,后面的从句不能有but ,但是though和yet, still 连用。 eg. Although(though) it's raining, they are still working in the field. (2) ever if= even though意为: “即使。如: Even if it rains tomorrow, we will set out on time. (3) while引导让步状语从句时相当于although, 一般要位于句首。如: While we don't agree with each other sometimes. we are still good friends. (4) no matter+疑问词=疑问词-ever 含义为....都.... ;不...都.... ,所引导的让步状语从句可以互换。 [练习]请将下列句子改成对应的疑问词-ever' "引导的从句。 No matter where you work or what you do, you should fllow the rules. = Wherever you work or whatever you do. you should follow the rules.

5.地点状语从句
where表示"在.. .地方”,“去..地方" 例:Wuhan lies where the Yangtze and the Han River meet. 武汉位于长江和汉水汇合处。 Where there is a will there is a way.有志者,事竟成。 I found my books where I had left them.我的书在我原来放的地方找到了 。 You'd better make a mark where you have any questions. 你最好在有问题的地方做个记号。(这里where引导的从句不是定语从句) tips: 在地点状语从句之前,不要使用介词。比如: [误] We should go to where we are needed most. [正] We should go where we are needed most我们应该到最需要我们的地方去。 wherever表示在...任何地方”,“无论哪里"

[注意] whet....表示“不论.否...“不管....还....之意。可引导让步状语从句, 它没有对应的no matter形式。如: Whether you are poor or rich, Iwill love you forever.
4.方式状语从句
通常由as, (just) as...... as if, as though引导。 (1 ) as从句带有比喻的含义,意思是..... ,“就像”,多用于正式文体。如: As water is to fish, so air is to man. 正如鱼儿离不开水,我们也离不开空气。 We will work with them, as we will work with you, to address our common concerns. 我们将与他们合作,就如同会跟你们合作一样,以解决我们共同关心的问题。 (2) as if 和as though两者意义和用法相同,常译作”.佛.... .似的" ,“好.....似的"。如: He looks as if he is angry. I feel sick as if I catch a cold again.我觉得不舒服 ,好像又感冒了。

它们的其结构形式如下: ( 1) so +形容词/副词+ that从句 so+形容词+ a/an +可数名词单数形式+ that从句 so + many 1 much 1 few/little(少) +名词+ that从句 (2) such + a/an +形容词+可数名词单数形式+ that从句 such+形容词+可数名词复数形式/不可数名词+ that从句 such+a lot of/lots of +名词+ that从句 注意:当so或such以及所修饰的部分置于句首时,主句要用部分倒装语序。(其他课件会讲到倒装句) (2) so...that和suc..that 句型转换: She is such a nice teacher that all of us love her. = She is so nice a teacher that all of us love her.
