I accompanied them to the nearest police station and without with their help, we got intouch with the taxi company. I thought if I had waited for one more minute ，I would have caught it. If I chose to take a the next bus ，I would have to wait for other another 30 minutes. Onlythen did I realize my problem. Now whenever I am about to losing lose my patience, I'll think of this experience.(十四)My school has taken on a new look since it moved to a new place. It is quite different of from the oldone. There used to be only one classroom building and the playground is was not large enough forall the student students to have sports. Sometimes we had to practise run running along the streets outside.The teaching conditions were even worst worse . Our teachers were ＼ used to teach with only ablackboard, and the experiments could only be done in the classroom. But now besides the classroom building, a modern lab building has ∧been put into use, which where all kinds of experimentscan be done. We have not only a large playground and but also a gym. Classes can be given with the help of computers and multimedia. What great changes! I feel proudly proud of my school.(十五)April 23rd is World Reading Day, ∧and this whichreminds us of the importance of reading. We aresupposed to read more i n on that special day. But the situation for we us to read nowadays is notsatisfying.For example, when we are at home, we would rather to ＼ watch TV or go on the Internet than read books. As a result, we spend suc h so little time on books. However, reading books have has manyadvantages. Not only can our abilities and skills be improving improved ， but also we can get someinformation from reading. For As a result, there are lots of traffic jams, and the airwhich we will ＼ breathe is terrible. Our town is very old but and all the streets are quite narrow, sothere is no room for bus lanes, which mean means that buses always get stuck in the traffic jams, too.However Besides ， lots of accidents with cyclists often happen because of crowded street streets . But I think, there is a simple solution of to these problems. The government should close ∧the city center to alltraffic except buses and bikes, and build very larger large car parks outside the town.
