Special Characteristics (SC) could be divided in characteristics with influence on fit and function or influence on safety and/or legal considerations. FF = Fit and Function: no safety and/or legal considerations - same meaning for (C1....Cx), W , KS (Symbols like) (S/C), D=Diamond, P=Pentagon S = safety and/or legal considerations - same meaning for (S1...Sx), A, D=DmbA, S = Safety, S= Shield, CC=Critical Characteristic SC criterias needs to be monitored by SPC where applicable. See Continental QV 22.03 Some customers standards could have a link from a <FF> or <S> mark to a PPK or CPK request. Example "D"=Diamond - This input and background needs to be requested from/assured by Continental Automotive Project Team Please use CPK and PPK requests meaningfull.
